Rangers Finalise £8.5m Acquisition of Minsu Kim
Rangers have secured South Korean winger Minsu Kim from Spanish side Girona in an £8.5m transaction. The 20-year-old forward has agreed to an initial four-year contract with the option of an additional 12-month extension.
The transfer marks Rangers' 12th signing of the summer window. The club is also positioned to finalise a £9.2m deal for Portland Timbers striker Kevin Kelsy ahead of the Scottish Premiership transfer deadline on September 3 at 5:00 PM.

Kim is ineligible for Rangers' UEFA Conference League play-off second leg against Jablonec, meaning his initial deployment is projected for Sunday's domestic fixture at Aberdeen.

"In certain areas of the pitch, we're a bit stronger than others. I think everything moves on," McInnes added regarding potential replacement acquisitions. "Nico served the club well. There's obviously an opportunity for him and the club to capitalise on that for a transfer fee."
